Ottawa Firefighters Local 523 will host our twenty-sixth annual Firefighters Memorial Day and Open House, at the main fire station. In Illinois the Sunday in May is designated Firefighters Memorial Day. This gives us an opportunity to honor our fallen Firefighters who have served our citizens, some who have given the ultimate sacrifice. It also fives us an opportunity to display our equipment and rich history of the Ottawa Fire Department. Please join us in celebration this event.
