Our business started when we bought a pub & grill in Oglesby, IL. in 2010, called MJ’s Pub & Grill. We named the pub after the late Mike Mente & me, Jackie Mente. Our son, Brian Branson started working for us and quickly became manager. A couple years later our other son, Kevin Branson, also joined the crew. 

When that business took off we decided to open a restaurant in our hometown of Ottawa, and we found the perfect location! It took us 14 months to put the place together, but we finally have our little A’Lure.

We love Ottawa and the people that live and work here, so we are dedicated to creating a wonderful experience for everyone that walks through that front door. We want to be a destination spot for those who live near & far!
